Often heard on KBUT during the Orange Blossom Special, The Great Divide or The Van Down By the River, Michigan-based Greensky Bluegrass offers a powerhouse live show with music that hits both traditional bluegrass notes and jamgrass flair. Greensky has a modern sound without straying far from the roots of the genre. A bit of what makes Greensky amazing: Poignant rural ballads about real people. Dobro tone that Jerry (Douglas or Garcia) would love. Grit and attitude from a whiskey soaked card game.And when they're on stage, all you can feel is the love, the fun, the energy.
