Big Air on Elk- March 10th

Big Air on Elk will take place in mid-March this year. Gabe Martin of the Colorado FreeSkier is organizing the spectacle that has been on hiatus for a few years. Big Air will take place at Third Street and Elk Avenue on March 13 and Martin hopes it will be a huge attraction for the Spring Break crowd.

Some Crested Butians built a bonfire to Ullr, the Scandinavian god of skiing, and guess it worked!

Take a look at the "powcam" from Sunday last. They clear it every day at 4 pm and it can be seen on the cbmr website - fun tracking it! eYou can also check out the grooming and trail report there.

"On the Trail fo Genghis Khan" (documentary film), December 11-14th

We start the winter season with the two-part documentary, On the Trail of Genghis Kahn. In June 2004 Tim Cope set off on an epic journey, 10,000km from Mongolia to Hungary by horse. Six years and 137 hours of film later his experience can now be seen in this film. We will show part one on December 11 and part two on December 14.
