Wednesdays at Western - Spring Detox Yoga Flow, April 25

This final installment of Western State College's Wednesdays at Western winter series on April 25, 5:30 - 7:30 p.m., demonstrates why yoga is an excellent way to shape up for warmer weather, detoxify internal organs and boost metabolism after the long winter months. Participants should have some prior yoga experience before attending. The cost is $15, and the workshop will take place with instructor Susan Searle at Taylor Hall on the WSC campus. CBMT’s YouTheatre Presents “Happily Ever After, Cinderella in Middle School, Ten Little Pigs,” Mallardi Cabaret Theatre- April 26-29

Crested Butte Mountain Theatre is proud to announce the YouTheatre performance of Happily Ever After, Cinderella in Middle School, and Ten Little Pigs by George Halitzka, directed by Deborah and Danielle Gillman. This production features young people, ages 8-14, in this fun and educational theatrical experience. These youth performances are scheduled for April 26-29, 2012 at the Mallardi Cabaret Theatre, @7:00 pm with a Sunday matinee scheduled on the 29th @ 3:00 pm. Tickets are $15 for adults, $13 for CBMT members, $10 for students, and children under 10 pay their age.

The 2012 Growler Series Mountain Bike Races offer the following categories:
  • Short Course
  • Long Course – Sport
  • Long Course – Expert
  • Little Kids Race – ages ? and up (kids race free)
There is not a beginner category because we cannot put together a true beginner’s course. Check out upper Jack’s Trail as it is fairly representative of most of the riding in the Growler Series courses. An important asset for less experienced riders is simply knowing when to get off of your bike and walk a difficult section. Walk today, Ride tomorrow! Typical trails in the Growler Series include Jack’s, Top ‘O the World, Gateway, Josies, Rocky Ridge, Skyline and Josho’s.

The 2012 Growler Series Trail Running Races will be about 5k (except the Signal Peak Race on Sept. 6th.)
