Magic Meadows Yurt Dinners- March 15, 2014

Magic Meadows Yurt Dinners

When the full moon rises, the Magic Meadows turn into a luminescent wonderland, with our back-country yurt nestled right in the middle.  There, you can enjoy one of our gourmet yurt dinners; a five course meal (see menu below) in a spectacular setting.
Recently featured in Outside Magazine, “It’s like going back to a 19th century, horse-drawn carriage era when people arrived at gatherings on a sleigh or by ski. It pulls you back to the traditional Nordic culture.”
Arriving to the yurt is surprisingly easy; a mile of flat, rolling, tiki torch-lined track that takes about 30 minutes for the average person on cross country skis or snowshoes.  To reserve your yurt dinner, click the button below.

http://cbnordic.org/magic-meadows-yurt/

Doors at 6, dinner at 6:30 p.m.
Cost :
Adults – $75
Children (under 12) - $35
Trail pass & ski/snowshoe rental are included, which can be picked up at the Nordic Center.
Wine and Beer available for purchase
Gratuity not included

The trail to the yurt is about a mile and is mostly level with a few rolling hills, taking about 30 minutes for most skiers. If you’re new to skiing, we suggest snowshoeing out there. If you’re unfamiliar with our trails, we can arrange for a guide to meet you at the trail-head at 5:30–just let us know if you’d like this service ahead of time. All the intersections on the trail to the yurt are lit with tiki torches so route finding is easier.  We do recommend all guests bring a headlamp or flashlight.  Feel free to stop by the Nordic Center ahead of time to pick up a map.
