Art Walk on Elk Avenue presented by the Crested Butte Center for the Arts- March 28, 2013

The Art Studio of the Center for the Arts is proud to participate in the Artists of the West Elks ArtWalk in Crested Butte. Each month at ASCA, we feature an new artist who kicks off his or her month-long ASCA show on ArtWalk night. Join in ArtWalk on the last Thursday of each month, and take the opportunity to leisurely stroll through the galleries of Crested Butte and experience and be inspired by the diverse artistic expressions of local artisans. Big Air on Elk- March 9, 2013

The main street of downtown Crested Butte is transformed into a giant huck fest with Colorado Freeskier’s annual event. After a huge kicker is built on Elk Avenue, skiers and riders are pulled to speed by snowmobile and compete to impress with big air, tricks, and the not so rare wipeout. The event then transforms into a night of festivities with live music and parties at local establishments throughout downtown.
