Santa's Ski Crawl- December 14, 2013

Crested Butte Mountain Resort is sponsoring a Santa Ski Crawl in hopes of setting the World Records for the most number of skiers in full Santa costumes. Participants  need to be decked out in a full Santa suit in order to participate and CBMR will be offering $20 discounted lift tickets in the Transit Center. Event Pub Crawl tickets are $25 and include a Santa suit.

Puss in Boots- December 12-14, 2013

A Traditional British Pantomime Play

For generations, children and adults around the world have enjoyed the fairy tale of Puss in Boots, the endlessly clever cat who uses a wealth of devious ploys and a magic spell or two to help his master gain fame, wealth and the true love of a princess.
Puss in Boots will be performed as a pantomime, a British form of stage production loosely based on well-known children’s stories and traditionally performed during the Christmas and New Year season. Pantomimes are known for their topical humor, slapstick comedy, singing and dancing, cross- dressing and, of course, audience participation is highly encouraged (similar to American melodrama).
You won’t want to miss this outstanding play on the Gunnison Arts Center’s black box stage. December 12th and 13th, 6 pm and December 14th, 2 pm and 6 pm.
