Independence Day Celebrations! July 4, 2011
Get up early and start your day off right with the Gothic Run Walk or Crawl. Follow that with a Carb Load at the CB Fire Protection District Annual Pancake Breakfast. Make sure to stake out a spot to watch the Fourth of July parade, which starts at Elk Avenue and Sixth Street, and goes down to Second Street. If it's a hot day and you need to cool off, move past Second Street into the Wet Zone. A tradition for almost as long as the parade, watch as the fire trucks open up the hoses and the real fun begins. Be warned, however, that you will get soaked.
