24 Hours of Gunnison Glory, May 27-2924 Hours of Gunnison Glory is the third annual rock climbing festival that happens for over a 24 hour span at Hman rocks. 24GG signs over 200 climbing routes at Hmans and set climbers to move at their own pace for 24 hours, for some that is the attempt to truly push for 24hrs...for others it is just a normal day at the crag with breaks and maybe even a nap. 24GG is a family friendly event and youth are encouraged as long as accompanied by an adult.
This year there will be 4 bands (Spring Creek Bluegrass Band; Russell Chapman, Iola and Poetry Normal) that will serenade the rocks from 6-12pm on the May 28th.
A youth focused fundraiser, event proceeds will go to the Climb Up So Kids Can Grow Up division of the American Foundation for Children with Aids and The Gunnison Valley Peaceful Warriors one of the Valley's youngest non-profit corporations and a component fund of the Community Foundation of Gunnison Valley.
