The Circus Freaks: A Children's Theater Intensive Performance - October 18, 2013
The Xanadu Performing Arts Company (XPAC), led by founders Jordan Mercer and Taryn Jacobs, present the exciting and unique performance of “The Circus Freaks.” XPAC has been hosting popular Children’s Theatre camps throughout the summer in Crested Butte and we are excited to bring them to the community of Gunnison as a four-week after-school program this fall. “The Circus Freaks” is about two circus-star sisters that are obsessed with fame. Their stardom consumes them and blinds them from the true meaning of happiness.
Slowly with time, travel and wisdom, they learn that there is more to life than fame and fortune. Join us in the GAC Theatre for fun with acting, singing, costuming and set preparation. The four weeks will culminate in a dynamic show for family and friends. Space is limited so sign up soon! Pre-registration is required. Cost: $125 tuition. The Gunnison Arts Center is accessible via the Deer Bus from all Gunnison schools.
Rehearsals: Tuesdays and Thursdays, 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. September 24 – October 17
Performances: Saturday, October 19 at 3:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.
Cost: $125 tuition
